Welcome to the Dymocks Children's
Charities
The Dymocks Children's Charities is an Australia-wide, tax deductible charity
that raises funds to help children learn to read and write effectively and fall
in love with reading. |

Focus on Early Intervention |
|
Literacy is the foundation of
education, learning and communication. If a child misses the thrill of reading
when they are young, chances are they won’t recover.
Poor literacy skills are associated with generally lower education and
employment outcomes, as well as being linked to high rates of welfare
dependence.
With this in mind, the Dymocks Children's Charities focuses on early
intervention with the knowledge that reading to children from birth impacts
positively on their future. Help us make a
