Radiothon 2008 |

In
September 2008, Radio 2UE hosted the Dymocks Children's Charities Radiothon - a fundraising drive to enable the
purchase and delivery of books to students from
disadvantaged backgrounds at a variety of schools and
organizations around Australia. |

|
As a result of the Radiothon,
over 2,500 books were distributed to 30 organizations,
including Book Bunker at Westmead Hospital, St Edmund's School
for Children with a Disability, Youth off the Streets, St
Gabriel's School for Hearing Impaired Children, Sadadeen Primary
School, Northern Territory and Stewart House. For a full

connection Radio 2UE have with their listeners and their
interest in supporting the community.
