performances, face painting, craft activities and a
variety of handicraft and refreshment stalls. The Dymocks book store was crowded with people eager
to purchase books by their favourite authors and there was great excitement in
the queues waiting to meet the authors and illustrators and have their books
signed.
The marquees were packed for each talk, whether aimed

from audience participants. The wonderful authors and illustrators who made the
Festival such a success this year were Andy Griffiths, Emily Rodda, Anna
Fienberg, Deborah Abela, Libby Gleeson, Dave Hackett, James Roy, Jo Henwood and
Pete Evans.
