Since 2006, Dymocks Children's Charities has partnered annually with Mingara to deliver literacy support projects throughout the NSW Central Coast.

To date, over 31 schools and community organisations have benefited from almost 10,000 books.

In 2010, Dymocks Children's Charities and Mingara are supporting 5 Central Coast primary schools by resourcing a special reading project of each schools choice. In addition, every kindergarten and year 1 child at these schools will receive their very own book from the 2010 Premier's Reading Challenge new releases list to take home and cherish. In total over 1200 books have been donated to these schools.

Past Mingara/Dymocks Children's Charities Literacy Support Projects have included providing books to organisations and schools such as Gosford Hospital Kid's Ward, Central Coast Schools for Children with Autism, Wyong Public School, Yarra Early Intervention Services, The Entrance Public School, Hopetoun School.
