Who We Are

Dymocks Children’s Charities is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving literacy outcomes for disadvantaged children across Australia. For 25 years, we have been fostering a love of reading and providing access to quality books. We do this because children who read regularly and have access to engaging books achieve better educational outcomes and lead healthier, happier lives.

How to Refer to Us

We’re often confused with our Foundation Partner, Dymocks Books & Gifts. While we share the same roots, Dymocks Children’s Charities is a separate registered charity with its own identity and mission.

To avoid confusion and to help strengthen awareness of our work, please always use our full name: Dymocks Children’s Charities (not just “Dymocks” or “the Dymocks charity”). When you use our full name, you’re helping the children we support know exactly who is behind them.
