Inspired Readers Festival
The Inspired Readers Festival will return to Port Macquarie in Term 4, Week 5, running from Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 November 2025. We are excited to bring back the magic of books to the Mid-North Coast Community as we continue our mission to foster a love of reading among young Australians living in regional areas. Connecting primary school students with some of Australia’s most cherished authors, the festival brings the joy of books and the magic of storytelling to life.

The School Author Sessions offer an inspiring opportunity for students to interact with their favourite authors and nurture a lifelong passion for reading. Over three days, five cherished children’s authors will host engaging sessions tailored for Year 3-6 students. Students will enjoy four educational and interactive sessions and celebrate at the Book End Party, where they can meet authors, get books signed, enjoy face painting, and more.
Students can get their favourite authors' books at a discounted rate by purchasing a Book Coupon online before the festival.
