Our Board

Dymocks Children's Charities is led by a committed Board of Directors focused on improving literacy for disadvantaged children across Australia.

Robert Dunlop, Chairperson

Robert joined Macquarie in 1991 and was appointed Chairman of Macquarie Capital in 2021, following his 2014 appointment as Chairman of the Critical Minerals & Energy Group. With a career largely focused on the energy sector, he has also served as Global Head of Natural Resources, Executive Director of Quadrant Energy, and advisor to the Victorian Government’s Infrastructure Planning Council. Robert holds degrees in Science and Economics from the University of Sydney, a Master of Economics from Macquarie University, and is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ and FINSIA. He became Chairperson of the Dymocks Children’s Charities Board in December 2023.

Caterina Tiberio, Director

Caterina holds a Bachelor of Business (Credit) from The University of Technology Sydney. She is a Chartered Accountant with nearly 30 years’ experience. Caterina was the CFO of the Dymocks Group of Companies for 3 years before being appointed as Finance Director from 2005. She was appointed Managing Director for Dymocks Property in March 2012 and has been on the Dymocks Children’s Charities board since 2003.

Emma Digiacomo, Director

Emma is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years of experience across Australia, the UK, and the USA. Her career spans destination tourism, retail, FMCG, and hospitality, with leadership roles on major brands including Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Westpac, Google, City of Sydney, and Taronga Zoo. She currently leads marketing for LK Hospitality Group, home to two 2-hatted restaurants, and has served as a Director of Dymocks Children’s Charities since 2020.

Nada Sukkarieh, Director

Nada is a strategic advisor with experience across corporate, government, academic, and not-for-profit sectors. She has held senior roles at Macquarie Group, Agerris, Agricultural Innovation Australia, and the University of Sydney, leading initiatives in finance, innovation, and governance. Nada holds a Master of Commerce (Finance), a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She supports Dymocks Children’s Charities in advancing literacy nationwide.

Robert Williams, Director

Robert is a seasoned consultant with over 30 years’ experience delivering large-scale private and public sector projects across Australia and the Asia-Pacific. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Sydney and an MBA from Macquarie University. Elected Chairman of Dymocks Children’s Charities in 2016, Robert led the organisation through significant growth and the challenges of the pandemic. He stepped down as Chair at the end of 2023 and continues to serve as a Director.

Shane Lloyd, Director

Following a successful career in financial services and retail, Shane now focuses on the not-for-profit sector, supporting disadvantaged youth and the LGBTI community. He has held leadership roles including Director of Merchandise for the Australian Marriage Equality Campaign and NSW State Chair for The Pinnacle Foundation. Shane has proudly served as a Director of Dymocks Children’s Charities since 2020.
