Meet Blaxcell Street Public School in Sydney’s western suburbs. Twelve years ago, they became one of the first schools to join our Book Bank program. Since then, over 600 students each year have taken home four brand-new books of their very own. For many of these children, these are the first — and only — books they’ve ever owned.

This year alone, 2,600 books will be delivered to 626 students at Blaxcell Street. But these aren’t just numbers, they represent growing confidence, moments of calm, and the beginning of a lifelong connection to reading.
