Meet our MC
Kylie is the co-host of The Morning Show on Channel Seven. With over 12 years at the Seven Network, she has covered many major sporting events including the Olympic Games and the Australian Tennis Open. We are very excited to have Kylie joining us for the Great Debate as our MC!

In the land of books and stories a new contender has emerged! Buckle up as we dive into a literary duel unlike any other... Artificial Intelligence (AI) vs. Authors. Join us at The Great Debate Gala to see our two debate teams battle the topic "Authors your time is up - AI is coming for you" in a thrilling showdown! Which side will take the win... only time will tell (or AI).
Meet the Team Captains
Back for another year, are our amazing team captains who will be leading their teams in The Great Debate! Both of our team captains have been actively involved in The Great Debate since our very first event in 2006. We can't wait to see Adam and Rob back up on the Great Debate stage battling it out!
ADAM SPENCER
Adam Spencer has been a breakfast radio announcer on triple j and ABC Sydney. He is a TV personality on everything from comedies Good News Week and The Glasshouse to weekly sports wrap The Back Page, and is also a member of the Sleek Geeks Science Team with Dr Karl Kruszelnicki. 2024 marks Adam’s 18th Great Debate!
ROB CARLTON
Rob Carlton is an actor and well-known face on the Australian comedy and drama scene. He has recently starred Black Snow for Stan and Boy Swallows Universe for Netflix. His portrayal of Kerry Packer in Paper Giants earned him a Silver Logie. Rob will be participating in his 18th Great Debate in 2024.
