Workplace Giving
Workplace Giving, also known as Payroll Giving, is a simple, tax-effective way to support Dymocks Children’s Charities through regular donations directly from your pre-tax salary.
This means your donation is taken from your pay before tax, so it can cost you less to give more.
Even small contributions make a real difference. A regular gift of $5 or $50 a month helps us provide brand-new books to children in Australian schools that need them most.
Make a bigger impact with Matched Giving
Many organisations choose to increase their impact through Matched Giving programs.
Matched Giving allows employers to match employee donations, either:
Dollar for dollar
Double matching
Or up to a capped amount
This helps maximise the impact of every employee contribution while showing a shared commitment to community and education. Matched Giving also helps build a stronger culture of giving within your workplace.
Why Workplace Giving Matters
In Australia:
1 in 6 children and young people are living in poverty
1 in 3 children are not reading proficiently
These challenges can affect a child’s confidence, learning outcomes, and future opportunities.
Workplace Giving helps address this by supporting access to books and literacy programs in schools that need it most.
Where Your Support Goes
Your donations support Dymocks Children’s Charities’ literacy programs, including:
Book Bank – focused on children in Years 3–6, the program provides four brand-new books each year, one per term, for four consecutive years
Library Regeneration – revitalises school libraries in disadvantaged communities by providing a curated selection of brand‑new, high‑quality books that support reading, learning, and exploration.
These programs support children in the bottom 25% of Australian schools, with a strong focus on communities experiencing disadvantage.
