A gift can mean more than we'll ever know

At Christmas, we give gifts hoping they'll mean something to the person receiving them. A book might become a child's favourite, take them on an unforgettable adventure, or spark a love of reading that lasts for years. But not every child has access to books they can call their own.

At Villawood North Public School, where Dymocks Children's Charities supports students through our Book Bank and Library Regeneration program, the impact of receiving a book is especially meaningful.

As Cathy Wilton, Principal, shared, “For many of our children, the first book they can truly call their own is the one they receive at school.”
