Carinity Education Shalom, Condon QLD

At Carinity Education Shalom in Condon, Queensland, every book makes a difference.

The school supports 205 students, many of whom are just beginning to discover the joy of reading through their small but passionate library. Until recently, there was no funding for library programs or a dedicated librarian, and an annual book budget of just $200 made it impossible to keep the shelves up to date.

But this year, everything has changed.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors and partners, Dymocks Children’s Charities provided more than 460 brand-new books through our Library Regeneration program, helping replenish and revitalise the school’s library collection. These books have brought new energy and excitement to the space, giving students fresh stories to explore, and teachers the resources to nurture curiosity and confidence in the classroom.

By helping schools like Carinity Education Shalom build vibrant reading spaces, we’re laying a foundation for lifelong learning and opening up a world of opportunity, one book at a time.
