School Spotlight: Braitling Primary School, NT
Students at Braitling Primary School in Alice Springs are discovering new stories and enjoying the excitement of reading together thanks to their refreshed library collection.
Through Dymocks Children’s Charities’ Library Regeneration Program, the school received brand-new books to support its 218 students and create more opportunities for reading during class time, library sessions and breaks.
The school shared that students have showngrowing enthusiasm for reading, with the new collection encouraging children to explore different stories and share their reading experiences with classmates.
The program also supported the school’s preschool classes, with each class receiving a dedicated set of books that can remain in their learning space. Teachers were thrilled to have access to quality books that students can enjoy every day.
By providing schools with books that reflect students’ interests and learning needs, the Library Regeneration Program helps create inspiring spaces where children can discover confidence, curiosity and the joy of reading.
We’re grateful to our supporters, whose generosity makes it possible to bring more books to schools and communities across Australia.
