Will Kostakis: What book made you fall in love with reading?

Children’s Book Week is a time to celebrate the stories that inspire us and the books that help shape a lifelong love of reading.

Author and Dymocks Children’s Charities Ambassador Will Kostakis shares why this celebration matters and the importance of helping children discover the book that’s right for them.

“Every story is not for everyone, but there is a story out there for everyone, it just might take some searching. Helping kids find that book can be a catalyst to a lifetime love of reading.”

Will believes Children’s Book Week is an important reminder to make space for stories in our busy lives and rediscover the joy and power of reading.

“Reading regularly transforms lives. Dymocks Children’s Charities' work goes a long way to ensure that disadvantaged Aussie kids have access to books, and the doors that literacy opens.”

This Children’s Book Week, Will is supporting Dymocks Children’s Charities to help more children across Australia access books and reading opportunities.
