School Spotlight: Millers Forest Public School, NSW

“Can I read ahead?” - That’s the kind of question we love hearing.

At Miller’s Forest Public School, students have been making the most of 326 brand-new books delivered through our Library Regeneration Program, and one book in particular has sparked plenty of excitement.

After reading Wonder in class, students were thrilled to discover their own copies in the library. They could borrow the book for themselves and, much to their teacher’s amusement, read ahead!

But it’s not just one book making a difference.

With just 64 students at the school, the new collection has opened up more choice and encouraged students to regularly borrow from the library. They’re choosing books for quiet reading at school, taking others home, and becoming more engaged in library lessons.
