Powering Literacy through Corporate Volunteering
Ahead of Children's Book Week, corporate volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help prepare thousands of brand-new books that will soon arrive in schools across Australia.
Over the past few weeks, we welcomed more than 130 volunteers from five organisations, who generously gave their time to support our literacy programs through auditing, stickering, packing and preparing books for delivery.
Together, we audited, stickered and packed over 14,900 books, destined for 38 schools across Australia, ensuring more children have access to quality reading materials and the opportunity to build brighter futures through literacy.
A heartfelt thank you to the organisations who supported us during this period, including AMP Foundation, Brookfield, Hollard Insurance, and Origin Energy. Your commitment has made a meaningful and tangible difference.
It has been a huge team effort, and we’re incredibly proud to be sending off the final boxes of brand-new books to schools across Australia this week.
