School Spotlight: Curramulka Primary School, SA
At Curramulka Primary School, a small school of just 25 students, something simple has made a big difference: access to the right books.
Through our Library Regeneration Program, over 120 brand-new books were provided, helping to refresh their shelves and give students more choice in what they read.
And the shift has been clear. Students are reading more, borrowing more, and building confidence, especially those who needed it most.
When students find books, they actually want to read, everything changes.
“We’ve seen a huge increase in voluntary reading, particularly in our older students who were previously less engaged. Completing book series has also made a big difference; once they find something they like, they can keep going.”
Happy reading, Curramulka Primary School!
